PRIVATE COLIN SMITH, 15th DIVISION, KILLED ON THE 28th JULY 1918

Colin Smith was employed as a farm servant before joining the Black Watch regiment (Service Number 43210), 6 months after the outbreak of the First World War.

He spent two years and half in France and Flanders, with the 4/5 th Battalion Black Watch and only returned home (Stirling, Scotland) once in this time.

Private Colin Smith was killed on 28/07/1918 and is buried in the British Military cemetery at Buzancy, Grave Number II. E. 22.
